An Exciting Weekend Ahead: The VI Portonovi Regatta Boka Islands Returns!

Get ready to set sail as this weekend, from June 6 to 8, the much-anticipated VI Portonovi Regatta Boka Islands returns for its sixth spectacular edition! Bringing together passionate sailors and sea lovers, this now traditional event promises three unforgettable days of exciting races, lively celebrations, and breathtaking views across Boka Bay.

The festivities start on Friday evening at the Yacht Club Terrace in Portonovi Marina with a welcome reception. Saturday morning awakens with the lively sounds of the Local Brass Orchestra as the marina comes to life. Following the skipper’s meeting at the Sailor’s Corner, the first part of the regatta begins at 11 AM. The day concludes with a wine tasting in Vista Square, featuring an energetic live performance by the Crveno i Crno Band.

Sunday follows a similarly dynamic rhythm: the Local Brass Orchestra greets the morning, the skipper’s meeting convenes, and the second day of the regatta sets off at 11 AM. The weekend concludes with an elegant Awards Ceremony and celebration at Perla Square Restaurant, complete with a festive dinner, fine wine, and entertainment by DJ Shar, accompanied by a live saxophone performance.

Over the course of the weekend, sailors will navigate scenic routes around iconic landmarks such as Our Lady of the Rocks and St. George, showcasing their precision, strategy, and seamanship.
